Pricing
We offer a transparent minimum charge for the typical electrical jobs, which includes the minor materials and VAT.
To visit you within Pembrokeshire or Carmarthenshire in order to discuss a project or to provide a no-obligation quotation for a set piece of work you want completing then there is no charge.
Where pricing hasn’t been quoted beforehand for a set piece of work or where fault finding is required, the following hourly/part hourly guide prices are likely to apply. The rates below do not include any material costs, unless stated.

|
Weekdays |
This will cover several common electrical services:
|
|
|
Weekdays £65 |
The follow on hourly rate is broken down into 15 min blocks, however for fixed price services this will not apply unless the additional time is due to issues that you have created. An example will be where the lighting circuit is not working, or the oven flexible cable is not suitable for reuse, or a switch or back box is damaged.
| Installation certificates | The above prices include the appropriate installation certificates, which will be provided as electronic PDF documents for you to print if required. | |
|
Escalated £95 |
Where work is required for an evening, weekend or bank holiday, or where it has to be scheduled at short notice, i.e. to suddenly fit in with other trades or available access, then pricing will be based on this hourly rate. This rate may also be charged per part hour for short or overrunning work where the issue has been out of our control.
|
Emergency £130 |
The minimum charge for emergency will apply whenever a quick response is required regardless of the time of day or day of week.
Rates are subject to change without notice, please check with me to ensure the rates have not changed since you last booked work.
These prices are based on man-hours, where a junior trainee is with us they will not be charged for in the hourly rates. The minimum charge includes an element of travel time both to and from your location as well as the time to produce the required certificates or documentation.
Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR), aka Periodic Inspection / Landlord Certificate
EICR’s are charged in a slightly different way. They are priced per circuit so you know exactly the cost before work starts, they are a legal document that is a certificate to say what the electrical safety aspects are of your installation, similar to a vehicle MOT.
£25 per circuit for the first five circuits, then £18.00 per subsequent circuit thereafter. Typically homes will have anything from five to ten circuits depending on the age of the property, additional circuits may be inside garages with their own units though. I will provide a honest open report any recommendations will be highlighted to you and will be in accordance with the NAPIT document for inspections, so you have complete tracability.
Pat Testing
PAT testing is charged at £2.75 per item, documentation provided, set up charge of £80
